Frequently asked questions

Do I choose my own group?

You tell us what matters to you. We use your answers to find people with similar interests, budgets, availability and friendship intentions in your area.

What if my group is not full yet?

We keep matching people as registrations come in. If one group reaches 15 members, we begin a new group rather than making it larger.

Do I have to meet everyone from my group?

You can meet people one by one or plan a big group gathering, get to know each other and take it from there.

Is this a paid service?

Yes. The one-time KSh 2,800 fee helps cover the cost of running Neighbour Friend Finder.

What happens after payment?

After your payment is confirmed, you will receive an invitation to the WhatsApp group with people near you who are most likely to be compatible as friends, based on your questionnaire answers.

What if my neighbourhood is missing?

Choose “Other” and type your estate, neighbourhood or town. We will use that information when arranging local matches.

Is this for only one gender?

Everyone is welcome to join. You will be placed in a group based on your location and interests, regardless of gender.
